wake up at five am.
get to the school a half hour early. six am
get on the bus to drive to maryland for two hours, give or take.
practice in a really hot school, only to find that BOA regionals were cancelled.
drive back to new jersey a full 12 hours early.

today was supposed to be our BOA regionals in maryland, but due to "tropical storm tammy" it was cancelled. which is really disappointing. i was honestly looking forward to spending the whole day at that competition, win or lose, and getting home at 2:30 in the morning.

We got back from band camp a week ago. It was really good. Not that the last two years were bad. The opposite really, I'm always going to miss cabin N(gon), the cabin on the other side, Orvile and Wilbur, and our oak made of feathers.This year was just different. I can't really explain.

Today was the first day of school, and it's going to be...bad? yes. Tomorrow I have to change about half of my schedule, but if my request doesn't get approved here's what my year is going to look like.

1A-Gym- The only person I know in this class is Eric, but at least we get to pick what we do.
2A-Chemistry I (T)- This is one of the classes I plan on getting out of to go into Honors, but I'm not sure if they'll let me because I don't know what my Alegbra 1 grade was (the requirement is B+) and my final Geometry grade was something like 84. If I don't get it changed this is going to be bad. There's no one I know (or care to know) in that class. The teacher seems okay though, that's about the only thing.
3A-Alegbra II- This is where it get's really bad. Everyone I have spoken to says that my teacher is terrible. I could have told you this before, the first thing she said was "I'm really bad with names so give me a few months. Once, there was this boy in one of my classes named Tony, and after he left I had his brother, well, for three years after that I still called him Tony, eventhough his name was Allan." And the seats we sit in tomorrow are the seats for the rest or the year...that's it...it's final. Oh yeah, and I know anyone in this class either. Problem is, I have no way of getting out of that class.
C Lunch
4A-Art I- This should be interesting. I actually know someone in this class, Loren. So that's okay.

1B-Acient Greek- This is the one class I know I'm dropping to take Spanish 4. It looks like an interesting class, and I know more than one person, but I decided to continue with spanish because it looks better for college...I hope.
2B-Academic English III-This class looks okay overall. Loren is in my class, it doesn't seem too hard, and the teacher seems nice. 
3B-Symphonic Band- Well, what is there to say about band? It just sucks that it's symphonic, but I knew that already, because I blew the tryouts. It's okay. There's people I know, obviously, and it seems fine.  
C Lunch
4B-Global Studies Academic- Eh, this one is a class that could be okay, or bad.

This always happens. I take the same classes as some of my friends, but we end up in totally different blocks. I know I could have potentally had Global Studies, Algebra II, Chem. and gym with people I knew, but, it didn't happen.

I know that sounded so pessimistic, but it's true. I'm not going to say anymore than that.

This entry will probably come back to haunt me.

Tomorrow is our first football game of the year, and our first 'full day.' I love that I get to sleep in two hours.
